Job Description

Lead the end-to-end design and continuous optimization of manufacturing production lines, leveraging industrial engineering methodologies and digital technologies to enhance production efficiency, control costs, and drive intelligent upgrades. Ensure production lines comply with Lean Manufacturing and Flexible Manufacturing standards.

Job Responsibilities

1. Production Line Planning & Design

• Oversee layout design for new factory/product production lines, including equipment selection, ergonomic optimization, and capacity balancing analysis.
• Design modular and reconfigurable production line architectures to support mixed-model production, with reserved interfaces for intelligent upgrades (e.g., IoT sensors, automation integration ports).

2. Non-Standard Equipment & Fixture Development

• Conduct mechanical structure design for non-standard automation equipment, delivering 3D models, engineering drawings, and BOM lists
• Collaborate with electrical engineers for equipment integration, participate in PLC program logic verification and lead full-process equipment debugging and process validation.

3. Automated Product Assembly Process Design

• Define automated assembly solutions based on product characteristics, leading the selection, debugging, installation, and trial operation of assembly equipment.
• Collaborate with production engineers to conduct design reviews for automated assembly, optimizing processes to improve yield and efficiency.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Engage with suppliers and stakeholders to align technical requirements, participate in contract negotiation for technical clauses, and manage external resources to control project costs and risks.

5. Technical Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Compile equipment operation manuals, maintenance guidelines, and production line design specifications, establishing a standardized knowledge repository.
• Track cutting-edge industry technologies (e.g., Industry 4.0, robotic vision), leading pre-research and pilot applications for new technologies.

Background & Skills

Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.

5+ years of production line planning/design experience in manufacturing, with 3+ years of hands-on experience in non-standard automation equipment development.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Creo (2D/3D design software), and Office project management tools.

Solid understanding of tolerance & fit, mechanics of materials, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and basic electrical control logic; familiar with PLC programming logic verification and automation equipment integration.
