About the Team & Business Line:

As an intern on the Citco team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Your Role:

CITCO Technology Management Interns are responsible for the development, support and maintenance of software components and/or modules in multiple tier internal applications, as well as vendor purchased software solution/packages; written in various languages.

Under the direction and mentorship of a developer or senior developer, you will:

  • Develop enhancements to new and existing applications
  • Support the current application stack
  • Participate in the design of new applications

About You:

Education

  • Currently enrolled in a technical or Computer Scienced focused Bachelors’ Degree Program as a Freshman, Sophomore or Junior
  • Taken 1 or more courses in software development; any certifications a plus

Technical Skills

  • No prior professional experience required
  • Demonstrated skill in one or two programming languages, preferably Python
  • Basic understanding of object-oriented programming, relational databases, software version control and software development lifecycles - Waterfall, Agile
  • Knowledge of operating systems - Microsoft XP, Linux, basic networking and security

Key Competencies

  • Complete assigned work on time, on scope and with low defect rates
  • Excellent listening and analytic skills
  • Enthusiasm to learn

Rate of Pay: $20 USD per hour
