Your Role

At our company, we believe that exceptional achievements stem from passionate individuals. We are currently seeking a Repair Facility Supervisor who is enthusiastic about leading a team of turbomachinery personnel and ensuring top-notch compressor repairs. If you have a decade of experience with high-speed rotating equipment and possess strong supervisory skills, we are eager to welcome you aboard.

As part of the Service Center team, you will report to the Operations Manager and work closely with the Repair Technicians, Material Handlers, and Machinists. Our facility specializes in the service and repair of centrifugal compressors and a wide range of rotating equipment, ensuring peak performance and reliability for our customers. This is an on-site position located in Houston, TX.

As a Repair Facility Supervisor:

• You will use your mechanical engineering knowledge to lead a team of Repair Technicians to perform turbomachinery repairs using industry-accepted techniques.
• You will oversee the repair facility’s scheduled workload to meet customer deliverables.
• You will collaborate continuously with the Service Center Operations Manager.
• You will achieve various KPIs such as utilization and operational efficiency targets.
• You will manage workshop travelers and ensure timely and budget-compliant repairs.
• You will review turbomachinery tear down reports and disposition of compressor parts to reused, repaired, or replaced.
• You will manage internal training requirements and facilitate training as needed.
• You will work to make Atlas Copco an industry leader in rotating equipment services.

To succeed, you will need

• Ten years of experience with high-speed rotating equipment, or equivalent work experience.
• A bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Strong supervisory skills and ability to lead a team.
• Proficiency in managing workshop schedules and achieving KPIs.
• Excellent communication skills for effective customer and internal interactions.
• Commitment to maintaining accurate repair documentation and efficient workflow.
