The primary role of the Sr Finance Analyst is to support the Finance Director in driving the Business Unit towards achieving its Business and Financial objectives. The Sr Fin Analyst will provide the necessary financial analysis required for decision support on all key initiatives within the BU.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing Business Unit financial results
  • Developing financial models and performing research and analysis as required by Finance leadership and Business Unit management.
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders to identify critical requirements and provide timely information to support robust decision making.
  • Assist in developing Business Unit annual plans, strategic plans, and forecasts.
  • Monitor business unit performance against the established KPIs, prior year results and annual budget; provide variance analysis and identify opportunities and required corrective actions.
  • Drive financial analysis for strategic decisions including, but not limited to margin accretive product innovations, sourcing studies, and other BU / brand initiatives.
  • Ad hoc analysis to support various BU / Brand initiatives.
  • Drive cost savings by identifying and analyzing BU / brand cost driver

Experience, Skills, Education:

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis with food and consumer packaged goods companies.
  • Possess a strong business acumen.
  • Possess a high level of personal and professional integrity.
  • Must be able to analyze data and situations.
  • Must be able to balance aggressive objectives against short-term operational profit and cash requirements.
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
