Duties of this internship:

• Copying, scanning and data entry
• Front desk customer service duties
• Re-shelving books
• Conducting collection searches
• Organizing material
• Conducting research
• Labeling and organizing folders
• Drafting content for Ohio State Libraries newsletter or website
• Assisting with event set-up and clean-up
• Facilities and security related tasks
• Other administrative duties

Required Qualifications:

• Must be currently enrolled as a high school student (rising junior, rising senior or graduating senior) in central Ohio.
• Must have completed the EVF Career Institute or similar high school leadership or community service program.
• Must be available between the dates of June 16 to July 25, 2025.

Additional Information:

Pay rate for this role is $13.00 per hour.

June 11: Intern/Parent Orientation (Virtual Zoom Meeting)

June 16 - July 25: Internship Program Dates

July 24: Celebration Lunch

Scheduling Information:

Interns can work up to 25 hours per week. The final schedule will be confirmed with the intern’s supervisor. Once per week the interns will participate in a variety of helpful workshops or fieldtrips. All interns are required to participate in these weekly sessions. Nine total positions are available, and interns will be assigned a physical work location on the Columbus campus.
