Job Summary Job Summary Bright Star Schools is seeking an exceptional and skilled Speech and Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) who has an unwavering belief that all students with diverse abilities can and will achieve at high levels. Under the direction and supervision of a SLPA assists in supplementing, enhancing, and extending speech/language therapy services by completing a variety of tasks such as, but not limited to, direct activities with students designed to develop pre-language and language skills, oral-motor control for speech production, vocalization, and use of assistive technology devices for communication. • An Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited SLPA program with a minimum of 2 years experience. -Minimum of 100 hours of field work experience required. -School support personnel must be registered with the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board.
