Tesla Internal Audit Team’s mission is to protect the company by calling attention to critical risks and driving management action to address those risks. Internal projects are driven by two guiding principles – Keep Tesla Safe and Enable Operational Excellence. The Team achieves its objective by collaborating with functional and business/product groups to identify areas of risk, making valuable recommendations on process and control improvements, cost reduction, and operational excellence. The Internal Audit team works closely with functional and business/product work groups to identify areas of risk, make valuable recommendations on process and control standardization, and influence decision-making process to drive change.

Together with the EMEA Internal Audit Team, you will take on an exciting journey of learning about different business processes across the organization and finding ways in supporting process improvement, driving cost reduction and operational excellence. The Internal Audit team works with Finance, Sales and Delivery Operations, Manufacturing, Procurement, Service and other teams in the region and reports to the US Internal Audit leadership team.

What You’ll Do

  • Supporting the EMEA Internal Audit Team in carrying out operational reviews and special projects requested by executives
  • Support in the Audit Follow Up Program, perform data analysis and trends in open and close remediation actions
  • Assisting and supporting SOX 404 assessment, including assessment and testing of internal controls over financial reporting
  • Develop good understanding about Tesla business and industry, along with associated risks, trends and developments
  • Navigate through ambiguity, manage multiple projects

What You’ll Bring

  • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or close related areas
  • Bonus points if you have worked with an Accounting/Auditing firm already and have first experience in Data Analytics
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to work with large amount of data (knowledge of SQL or other data analytics tools is a plus)
  • Level C1 in English (spoken and written), good communication skills and ability to connect with different personalities
  • Audit / Finance experience desired but not a requirement
  • Knowledge of SOX and internal control framework is a plus
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast paced environment is key
