TEAM

Our mission is to achieve automated driving technology through data-driven development. To be number one in the automated driving industry, agile software development is necessary. In order to increase the speed and quality of software development, it is important to reproduce and validate the very many and complex traffic scenes that occur in the market. The Production Tooling team uses agile development methods to develop simulations and utilize them to create a testing environment for automated driving software. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a simulation software engineer that will help lead the team in the development of AD/ADAS features with a focus on our automotive driving simulator. You should have a desire to work with a diverse set of systems from vehicle simulation and UI to networking. You feel comfortable working with cross-disciplinary teams involving engineers, designers, and researchers on everything from back-end to front-end systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop code to be used in driving and HMI simulators
• Perform code reviews to ensure a high quality of work is maintained across all projects
• Help lead the team in defining and developing a clean and consistent software architecture
• Collaborate closely with design, research, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that enable high quality interactive user experiences
• Help mentor those around you about good coding practices, design, and development processes

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer
• Proficient with C# or C++
• Experience developing applications with 3D engines such as Unity or Unreal
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or have the equivalent professional experience
• Working proficiency and communication skills in spoken and written English

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience using Unity in a professional setting
• Experience working on driving simulations
• Knowledge of automotive software systems
