What to Expect

Duration: 5-6 months 

Period: Fulltime (40 hours a week) 

NOTE: YOU MUST BE ENROLLED IN EDUCATION DURING THE ENTIRE INTERNSHIP TO BE CONSIDERED.

You’ll be part of the EMEA Energy EHS team, which is a vital team for Tesla’s success in the region. Working directly for the Energy EHS lead, you’ll have the unique opportunity to influence change by developing programs and improving our internal processes. More specifically, you’ll assist the Megapack, Supercharger, and Field Service teams with EHS-related activities across Europe, Middle East, and Africa. You’ll be a critical support for further establishing EHS as a reliable team in this region. As such, you’ll help drive programs that improve safety and efficiency with our contractors, learn about existing and emerging markets, and develop innovative solutions to technical challenges. You’ll also interface with global Program Manager leads to localize global initiatives and globalize local initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide support for EHS programs, including LOTO, Hazard Communication, Emergency Response, Fall Protection, Respiratory Protection, Hearing Conservation, Ergonomics, and Risk Assessment
  • Research, compile, and communicate regulatory requirements as they relate to EHS
  • Explore and utilize AI solutions to EHS initiatives, including summarizing EHS frameworks and identifying trends in incident cases
  • Participate in process and product design discussions
  • Perform safety inspections and environmental audits in the field
  • Advocate for EHS, driving a strong and committed safety culture throughout the organization

What You’ll Bring

  • Level C1 in English (written and spoken)
  • Studying a relevant field like Environment, Safety and Health Engineering Environmental Engineering
  • Knowledge with common Microsoft Office tools, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Capable of working in a fast paced and always changing environment
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Well organized with meticulous attention to detail
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving oriented
  • Proactive work mentality and team player
