Position summary / Main purpose of the role:
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Senior Embedded Software Engineer to work with an experienced team of software developers and product management to develop cutting-edge digital audio products. This position may be based in one of the following locations: Carlsbad, California; Owings Mills, Maryland; or Indianapolis, Indiana.
The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, test, and delivery of consumer electronics products. Must be able to apply expertise in embedded system design, architecture, and implementation to the development of high-volume, next generation products. Must have experience using and working with embedded processors, embedded Linux, real time operating systems, build systems, programming languages, network architectures, and software development tools.
This job requires a team player with good organizational and planning skills, solid communications, and mentoring capabilities. The ideal candidate should have a passion for new technologies and innovations with a positive attitude and self-motivation.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $112,000 - $165,000 plus benefits. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. This position also qualifies for up to 3.5% PSP bonus based on company, department, and individual performance.
