The Role

As ML Engineer for Linktree’s Data and Machine Learning team, you’ll be responsible for delivering new ML- and AI-powered experiences throughout our core product. These new experiences will unlock impactful new opportunities for our tens of millions of users and our billions of visitors around the world. Most of all, they’ll help Linktree achieve our mission: To empower anyone to curate and grow their digital universe.

You’ll help us test new ideas quickly, by working in lean, build-measure-learn cycles. You’ll develop rapid prototypes, test them on real users, and iterate based on learnings and user-feedback.

You’ll be part of a cross-functional team of ML engineers, backend engineers and data engineers, fostering cross-discipline collaborations to achieve impressive results. You’ll work across a broad range of ML and AI technologies, including natural language processing, computer vision and recommender systems.

You’ll work in London, with 3 days per week from our office and 2 days per week from home.

What You’ll Own

  • You’ll implement, test, and scale a wide variety of ML and AI capabilities, leveraging both established libraries and emerging technologies;
  • You’ll collaborate with other cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions into our core products;
  • You’ll monitor, evaluate, and improve the performance of models in production;
  • You’ll stay up-to-date with the latest developments in ML and AI, to ensure we’re always operating at the cutting-edge;
  • You’ll contribute to our overall ML and data science strategy, ensuring we remain competitive and innovative;
  • You’ll evangelise best practices for data and ML, and drive adoption across the company.

Who We’re Looking For

  • You have at least 5 years of relevant experience as an ML Engineer in a high-growth technology company;
  • You have hands-on experience of delivering complex, technical projects in this space;
  • You have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, or a related discipline (a Master’s Degree or PhD is a bonus);
  • You have clear experience of shipping software AND driving business impact;
  • You thrive in an fast-paced, agile product development environment;
  • You have experience using “build-measure-learn” cycles to ship quickly, iterate and derive powerful insights;
  • You can work from our London office 3 days per week.
