The Electrified Powertrain Functional Safety Control Algorithm Design Engineer will work within a team of powertrain controls, calibrations and integration engineers to develop monitoring algorithms per E-Gas Monitoring Concept for Gasoline and Diesel Engine Control Units as applicable to Battery Electric and Plug-in Hybrid Electric vehicle controls architecture and ISO26262 for current and next-generation electrified powertrains for Stellantis' vehicles. The overall goal for the team is to develop a complete electrified powertrain that meets the vehicle functional requirements for fuel economy, emissions, drivability, and diagnostics.
The ideal candidate will be a strong team player and willing to work in a fast paced environment, will be involved in developing function monitoring algorithms for safety critical functions of Battery Electric and Plug-in Hybrid Electric vehicles.
