Responsibilities

As a Senior Electronics Engineer (TE) with MTSI you will support of a government organization essential to U.S. national security. In this position you will apply knowledge and expertise in ensuring the reliability and performance of advanced aircraft systems through rigorous testing and evaluation processes.

Tasks and responsibilities are inclusive of but not limited to:

&bull Exhibit and apply knowledge and experience in DoD engineering principles, criteria, and common engineering/scientific principles, processes, and procedures to improve performance and sustainability of existing and future AF and joint service weapon systems USAF systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement activities, post award project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles

&bull Assesses impacts of EW systems design and implementation on Air Force Sustainment and Intelligence infrastructure

&bull Reviews program verification activities and product designs for EW systems criteria compliance and assesses airworthiness certification and system safety

&bull Assesses interfaces and operating environments to evaluate effectiveness, safety, suitability, and durability

&bull Applies analytical technical knowledge to analysis of platform EW requirements

&bull Analyzes design and test data to support informed program and technical decision making for EW sensors and systems at all levels of acquisition

&bull Executes RF chain analysis for EW RF system and subsystem components to identify design strengths and limitations

&bull Understands RCS impacts to EW and apply those concepts to EW assessments

&bull Assist in the development, coordination, and updates on user requirements on contract and technical documents

&bull Provides technical management and proper application of systems engineering processes to support technology and systems development

&bull Defines the maturation of technology development and technical risk reduction efforts

&bull Develops, evaluates and manages requirements, functional and physical architectures, and interfaces

&bull Assists in the management of technical issues that arise as a result of the integration processes using a systems approach

&bull Employ procedures, methods, and tools for measuring technical progress and assesses the effectiveness of plans and solutions

&bull Plans for and manages integration of developmental and fielded systems into platform electrical, mechanical, and avionics systems

Qualifications

Required:

&bull 5-8 years experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD

&bull Bomber, fighter, or ISR platform experience

&bull Bachelor&rsquos degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or computer science from an accredited institution required

&bull Master&rsquos degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or computer science from an accredited institution required

&bull U.S. Citizenship is required for this position

&bull Eligibility for access to SAP Information

&bull Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility

&bull Worked in a Special Access Programs or TS/SCI environment for 3 of the last 10 years (highly desired)
