Based in Omaha, Nebraska you’ll have the chance to work on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects and utilize your transportation design experience in highways on transportation related projects. You'll interpret internal or external business issues and recommend best practices. You'll solve complex problems; take a broad perspective to identify different solutions; guide other in solving complex issues in specialized areas based on existing solutions and procedures. You'll work with the best engineers and project managers in the business, as well as work directly with our clients. We want you to be empowered to deliver the boldest solutions for everyday living.

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Proficiency and prior experience of using MicroStation including OpenRoads Designer (5+ years of experience preferred)Registration as a Professional Engineer in Nebraska
• Extensive and demonstrable highway design experience
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate all phases of a project

Ideally, here’s what you’ll also have: 

• NDOT project experience (other DOT is acceptable)
• Experience in roadway and traffic control plan design
• Experience assembling and reviewing construction drawings and specifications

The base salary range for this position is $76,700.00 to $119,800.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
