Sentara Medical Group is currently offering a Sign on Bonus for qualified Medical Assistants!

Qualified New Grads are eligible for a bonus. Must be either a CMA, RMA, Paramedic Certification or EMT-Basic.

This is a part-time role with Float Pool.

The Medical Assistant Float Pool position will support one or more regions which would primarily include Northeastern North Carolina (Elizabeth City, Edenton, Moyock). May occasionally support the Southside of Virginia (Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Suffolk) as needed.

Differential pay is provided for the travel and flexibility that is needed for this role. 

Required Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant Certification with License Number or RMA / EMTB certification required
• Reliable transportation

As a Medical Assistant with Sentara, you will work directly with a doctor conducting phlebotomy (lab), clinical and clerical duties. This position's primary responsibilities include bringing the patients into rooms, taking vitals, verifying patient information, and preparing them for the doctor. We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$18.62 - $27.92
