We are looking for a talented and experienced Software Engineer with 5 - 7 years of hands-on expertise in software development, application support, and system integration. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills in Cobol, Oracle, Python, C#, .NET, VB, SQL, HTML, and JavaScript. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Cobol, C#, .NET, VB, and Python.
• Manage and optimize databases using Oracle and SQL for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Develop dynamic web applications and interfaces using HTML and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver new features.
• Ensure high quality code through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Prepare technical documentation and user manuals for developed applications.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to existing systems.

Skills & RequirementsRequirements

• 5 -7 years of professional experience in software development and application support.
• Proficiency in Cobol, Oracle, Python, C#, .NET, VB, SQL, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Strong database management skills, including SQL query optimization and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with front-end and back-end development.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is a plus.
• Certifications in Oracle, .NET, or Python are an added advantage.
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern development frameworks.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
