Summary
The Payment Reimbursement Analyst is responsible for identifying payer accounts to determine compliance with payer contracts. The analyst will audit these accounts and follow up with payers on resolution on reimbursement discrepancies. This position will play a key role in departmental projects pertaining to quality and performance improvement. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience
Education
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in healthcare, accounting, Business or other related field
Minimum: Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. Or an equivalent combination of previous related payment reimbursement experience and education.
Experience
Minimum: Two (2) years of experience working in accounting, finance, or a hospital revenue cycle environment.
Special Skills
Minimum: Strong analytical skills. Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language. Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Knowledge of healthcare receivables.
