Rating Advisory is part of UniCredit’s Client Solution (CIB). We are the bank’s competence center on corporate credit ratings for the global rating agencies: S&P, Moody’s, and Fitch. Our analysis is key to support capital markets transactions (e.g.: leveraged M&A deals by private equity sponsors or primary market deals of multinational clients) as well as other investment banking products in assessing potential corporate rating sensitivities. Our guidance is essential to unveil UniCredit’s value-added to our corporate clients by optimizing financing structures on rating related topics. As such, we have to understand both equity- and debt financing instruments in conjunction with the rating agencies’ methodologies, criteria and processes.

What you'll be doing

  • Conduct research and analysis (industries, companies, markets)
  • Support rating advisory internal processes, tools, and applications
  • Provide on-going quantitative and analytical support:
  • Financial statements and models analysis and interpretation
  • Aggregation and analysis of data from global Rating Agencies
  • Preparation of rating-related slides, pitch books, and presentations

What you'll need to succeed

  • Studies in Economics/Business Administration/Banking/Finance
  • Strong motivation and willingness to learn
  • Understanding of corporate financial reporting/ IFRS
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good command of English

  • #UnlockYourPotential – With us, you are guaranteed a steep learning curve. In your multifaceted internship, you can supplement your theoretical knowledge from your studies with practical insights and thus find out where your passion lies.
  • #EnjoyNetworking – From day one, you will be part of a vibrant community and a great team that supports each other. In addition to your day-to-day job, numerous events await you where you can make contacts in all areas and divisions of the bank.
  • #BeAppreciated – You are part of the team from the very beginning and worth every single cent to us. That is why we reward your commitment and impact with €2,200 gross per month for voluntary and mandatory internships.
  • #ComeAndStay – For top interns, we have a retention program so that we can stay in touch after your internship and hopefully soon welcome you as a permanent employee.
