Come on board as a Senior R&D Test Engineer and be the quality gate for our state-of-the-art automotive sensors!

As a Senior R&D Test Engineer, you are responsible for improving test software and hardware currently in use at Infineon’s production sites.

In your new role, you will:

• Improve our current approaches for highly parallel testing by optimizing test software routines or redesigning test hardware
• Focus on the improvement of the execution speed of our current tests, update the test architecture and modules if necessary, running a cost analysis to make them as efficient as possible
• Further enhance testing capabilities by converting running test solutions to the next generation of ATE/testing platforms
• Be responsible for the definition and generation of test specifications, production ramp-up support, and yield optimization
• Be responsible for successfully transferring your new test packages (test programs and test hardware) to Infineon’s worldwide production locations
• Have the opportunity to travel between different production sites
• Work on multiple projects at the same time

With your proactive, analytical, and creative working style, you are to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, lean environment while maintaining quality standards. Furthermore, you enjoy connecting with other people and are flexible for business trips and training.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Automation, Mechatronics or equivalent degree
• At least 3 years of experience in test engineering, system testing or hardware validation and characterization
• Knowledge in programming languages like C/C++, VB or Matlab or scripting languages
• A good understanding of mixed-signal IC laboratory verification/characterization
• Experience with PCB design and knowledge of DFT (design for testability) would be a plus
• Knowledge in Teradyne or Advantest based ATE platforms and automotive products would be an advantage
• Good command of English language
