Administrative Program Coordinator

VP Student Affairs

Location: New Orleans, LA

Summary

The AdministrativeProgram Coordinator is responsible for the administrative aspects of theMaxient Database, the student conduct records management software. Thisincludes the timely review and assignment of all online reports, managing useraccess, development of training materials and user support. This position servesas the point of contact for Maxient. The Administrative Program Coordinator ensuresmaximum utilization of the system and resolves any issues.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Ability to have a commitment to customer service in both approachand attitude.
  • Ability to work in a university environment.
  • Ability to utilize computer programs (Word, Excel, Publisher) andoffice machines (copy, fax).
  • Competency in data entry and record keeping.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed.

Required Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Experience working with Maxient database.
  • Experience with marketing or graphic design.
  • Experience managing web content.

Compensation Information

This position is classified as "non-exempt, hourly" and is assigned to pay grade 23.
