Titan Technologies, LLC (Titan) is seeking an experienced, self-directed, Data Architect to support the Army Data and Analytics Platform contract in Newport News, VA. As a member of our team, you will help to assist the Army in a full range of program/product management and administration, financial, technical, and business transformation. This position is located in Newport News, VA. 

The Data Architect Designs and builds databases for data storage or processing. Develops strategies for warehouse implementation, data acquisition and access, and data archiving and recovery. Builds data models and defines the structure, attributes and nomenclature of data elements. May evaluate new data sources for adherence to the organization's quality standards and ease of integration.

The Senior Data Architect will lead the design and implementation of data architecture solutions for the Army Training Information System (ATIS). The candidate will create robust data models, manage data integration, and ensure compliance with DoD standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop logical and physical data models to support ATIS objectives.
• Design data solutions for data warehousing, ETL processes, and real-time analytics.
• Oversee data integration between ATIS and other Army systems.
• Implement metadata management and data cataloging tools.
• Ensure data solutions comply with DoD and RMF standards.
• Implement encryption, masking, and access controls to secure sensitive data. Optimization: Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Monitor data pipelines and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Required: 

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or similar
• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, integration, and modeling
• AWS Certified: Data Analytics or Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL tools. Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS or Azure). 

Preferred:

• Master's degree in a related field

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Secret Clearance is required.
