REQ12593 Manager, Social Media (Open)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Social Media Manager is responsible for managing the execution of social media strategy and implementation to drive brand advocacy and customer conversion & loyalty.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with line manager to come up annual social media strategy, focus on outside Mainland CN market.
  • Develop and manage relevant social media content monthly to drive growth and engagement on social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, IG, TK.
  • Plan and implement social media outreach campaigns to drive awareness and engagement, even conversions, subjective to campaign objectives.
  • Build and manage a portfolio of influencers, KOLs and KOCs. Drive their attendance of Melco events and generate positive social media contents timely.
  • Manage relationships with social media platform partners and agencies on campaigns.
  • Analyze and review social media performance and optimize social media planning accordingly.
  • Monitor social media trends and key competitors’ activities.
  • Work closely with Marketing team, PR team, Media Team, and other social media colleagues who are managing social media communication for Mainland CN mkt, to keep social media communication in IG/FB/TK be consistent with other communication channels.
  • Manage agencies to work towards the same objectives and manage budget related.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

  • At least 5 years relevant experiences in social media planning, with at least 2 years experiences of Manager or Assistant Manager, Social Media.

Education & Language

  • Bachelor’s degree

Skills/Competencies

  • Highly proficient in key social media platforms, especially Facebook, IG and TK.
  • Deep knowledge of current social media trends, measurements and tracking methods.
  • Strong writing skills in both English, and Traditional Chinese. Skills in Simplified Chinese copy writing is a plus.
  • Highly organized and as a good communicator.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills.
  • Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with internal business units and external vendors.
  • Very well organized with a proven ability to multi-task.
  • Flexibility and resourcefulness to respond to a fast-paced work environment with shifting deadlines.
