POSITION SUMMARY:

The main responsibility of the Executive, Social Media is to support the team on day-to-day allocation of social media contents, proceed social media campaigns with KOL & KOC, arrange social media shooting, collaborating with agencies and deliver social media materials within the corporate branding guidelines of Melco. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage relevant social media content to drive growth and engagement on social media platforms.
  • To coordinate with social media agency to implement social plan to boost visibilities and audience engagement and ensure all posts and stories are posted and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Implement social campaigns as directed and other ad-hoc projects ensuring delivery to time, quality, and standards.
  • Keep track on data, consolidate and compile post-campaign report for social media campaigns for management review. 
  • Implementation of social media plans including material follow up and gate keep submission deadlines
  • Manage billing to ensure payments are settled on time
  • Coordinate with different business unit on social media content shooting schedule, support on-properties shooting for social media and manage KOLs, Celebrity, Variety shows, company events and Concerts. Etc.
  • Monitor social media trends and key competitors’ activities.
  • Perform other duties when needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

  • One or more solid years of related work experience.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends and best practice in social media and digital media channels
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, such as Weibo, Wechat, Red, Douyin, Ctrip, Dianping, Facebook, IG.
  • Understanding of social media analytics, social media management tools, channel optimization.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business or International Studies

Skills / Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Confidence and professionalism when dealing with people on all levels.
  • Competent computer literacy, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • An excellent understanding of high-end brands and how to deliver design and art for aspirational lifestyle brands.
  • Flexible in working hours, as this may require extra hours out of normal work hours.
  • Friendly, energetic, and enthusiastic.
  • Passionate about their work and the role of branding to deliver success.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising on quality
  • Good written and verbal skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin are essential.
