Mechanical design engineer (M/W/D)

Sidel is looking for a Mechanical Engineer. Based at our Le Havre site, he/she will be part of the mechanical engineering team in charge of the development of mechanical modules focus on aseptic equipment. Our equipment uses a wide range of technology allowing varied study perspectives. Don't wait to apply!

YOUR MISSION

• Responsible of the study phase of parts, sub assembly or even full modules
• Accountable of design accordance to specification
• Accountable of design according to technical feasibility , assembly and maintenance of the components.
• Autonomous in the management of the detailed tasks, securing the respect of the planning and time schedule.
• Manage technical problem solving, participating or organizing design review, qualification review, functional analysis, FMEA analysis, based on six sigma approach.
• Secure quality of assembly drawings, design models, calculation notes and functional analysis.
• Manage the non conformity by RCA approach, defining properly preventive and corrective action to implement quality continuous improvements.
• give proper supports to Supply chain (industrialization, quality derogation , resourcing, ….)
• Accountable to strictly respect compliance to Sidel design specification, Sidel design process and product evolution
• Respect process for architecture governance (platform architecture, standardization principle, granularity rules, interfaces standardization level, modular cad approach).

YOUR PROFILE

Educational qualifications :

• Mechanical Engineer Master at Technical Institute
• diploma obtained in a work-study program preferred
• Professional skills and experience :
• Knowledge of Solidworks CAD Software (Nice to have AutoCAD)
• Knowledge of sizing of mechanical components and transmissions
• Knowledge of standard and additive manufacturing process
• knowledge of structure and materials property
• knowledge of problem solving tools (RCA, 5 why, ...)
• Positive attitude and able to work in a team environment
• Able to travel, if requested, for a short period to customer site for surveys or analysis of machine problems

• English : professional
