Team Introduction

The HROP Payroll Ops team strives to be the trusted partner to the employees as we respect and value their opinions and honoring our promise in handling sensitive data with integrity. We aspire to be the leading payroll ops team by providing excellent support to the employees in our industry in order for them to excel in their career. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate, highly independent, self-driven with a growth mindset and is keen on accepting challenges yet remain humble with the aim of learning and growing with the team.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and reconcile tax amounts between the payroll registers and the external tax service agency, ADP. Work with payroll processing teams to make necessary corrections if discrepancies are discovered;
• Manage relevant projects upon demand;
• Work with tax authorities to resolve tax notices;
• Conduct tax related research and support projects that have payroll tax implications;
• Assist in performing daily payroll department operations;
• Support the preparation of payroll data, reports, and new-hire employee information;
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns;
• Work with multiple international stakeholders and database programs for payroll-related integration needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Advantageous to have 5+ years of in-house corporate payroll experience;
• Hands-on US tax filing experience;
• Be able to manage multiple deadlines;
• Strong vendor management and project management skills;
• Ability to partner and influence stakeholders;
• BA/BS degree required.
