The Student Researcher position provides unique opportunities that go beyond the constraints of our standard internship program, allowing for flexibility in duration, time commitment, and location of work.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct cutting-edge research and development in computer vision and machine learning, especially in the areas of generative AI and data-centric research.

2. Solve unique, large-scale, highly complex technical problems.

3. Enhance multimodal understanding and reasoning (images and texts etc), throughout the entire development process, encompassing data acquisition, model evaluation, pre-training, SFT, to bolster overall performance.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Currently pursuing a PhD in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

2. Research experience in multi-modality understanding / generation, and other related topics.

3. Publications in top-tier venues, such as CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, EMNLP, ACL, COLING, etc.

4. Highly competent in algorithms and programming; strong coding skills in Python and popular deep learning frameworks.

5. Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Work and collaborate well with team members.

2. Ability to work independently; Strong communication skills.

3. Experience in large-scale data processing and model training.

4. Experience in multi-modality models.

5. Experience in diffusion models is a plus.
