Molex is seeking a motivated and self-driven Manufacturing Integration Engineer to grow with our manufacturing team in the Taiwan Design Center located in Taipei, Taiwan.

You will be developing a manufacturing strategy for new products to meet customers production and delivery requirements. This person will be working with initial requirements to design how this product will be manufactured with manual and/or automation production lines.

What You Will Do (Job Description)

  • Strategic Manufacturing Development: Create and implement strategies for new product manufacturing, focusing on quality, cost, and lead-time. Lead early prototype development to test new technologies and reduce risks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments (product development, marketing, finance) to perform financial analyses and develop optimal solutions. Collaborate with internal and external suppliers throughout the product development process.
  • Product and Process Optimization: Validate and debug new products and processes in collaboration with NPI and plant teams. Support projects to enhance cost-efficiency, quality, and manufacturing operations.
  • Quality and Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to Molex Quality Management, ISO standards, and EH&S systems. Implement and follow established policies and procedures for quality and safety compliance.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent, based on experience and training.
  • 5 years+ experience in mechanical engineering related to the manufacture and assembly of precision electromechanical components.
  • Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software
  • Good communication skills in English verbal, reading & written

What Will Put You Ahead

  • 1~2-year experience in cable/connector product design/manufacturing.
  • Familiar with molding, stamping, plating, and assembly in connector, cable, and cage manufacturing.
  • Skilled in estimating tooling costs, preparing quotes, and managing projects.
  • Hands-on experience in design, build and debug of assembly equipment.
