The role

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Solution Architect specializing in application development on AWS. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in .NET or Java, a strong background in frontend development, and hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices. The candidate should also demonstrate proven leadership capabilities, having led teams of 5-10 developers. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design and deliver scalable, high-performance application solutions on the AWS platform, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry best practices. 
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across application development lifecycles, including backend, frontend, and cloud integration. 
• Lead and manage a team of 5-10 developers, ensuring successful project delivery within scope, timeline, and budget. 
• Implement and enforce DevSecOps practices, integrating security protocols into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure secure application development and deployment. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define architecture, and ensure seamless delivery of solutions. 
• Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes to validate architectural decisions and demonstrate innovative approaches. 
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability, leveraging AWS services and tools effectively. 
• Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship to the development team, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. 
• Engage with stakeholders to articulate technical solutions, risks, and project progress. 
• Stay updated with the latest AWS services, application development trends, and DevSecOps tools to drive continuous improvement. 

What we need to see from you

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 

Min 10 years of experience as a Delivery Solution Architect with a focus on application development. 

Proficiency in .NET or Java, with hands-on frontend development experience (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js). 

Solid experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFormation). 

Strong expertise in DevSecOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, HashiCorp Vault, or AWS CodePipeline). 

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). 

Knowledge of serverless architectures and best practices. 

Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools 

Proven ability to lead and manage development teams of 5-10 resources. 

Experience in designing and implementing microservices-based architectures and APIs. 

Familiarity with security best practices in application development and cloud environments. 

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills 

Education and Certification 

Bachelors or associate degree in IT discipline 

Certification in AWS Certified: Solution Architect or AWS Certified Developer are must. 

What we need to see from you 

Report to practice lead. 

Work closely with pre-sales team to develop opportunities and solution proposal 

Work within project team to develop and test the developed system 

Design, develop, and unit test in accordance with established standards. 

Assist project team in analyzing and resolving technical issues. 

Assist in preparing manuals, specification and other technical documentations. 

Package and support deployment releases. 

Assisting in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, and estimates.
