  • Design, build, and automate test infrastructure for battery system and component testing
  • Investigate test and field failures to drive product development and improve validation processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Design Engineers, Reliability Scientists, Material Scientists, Quality, and Service teams to identify failure modes and define robust validation plans
  • Develop and execute design validation plans (DVPs) and test methods to ensure compliance with performance requirements
  • Lead high-voltage battery testing programs, mentoring engineers and influencing critical product decisions
  • Utilize data acquisition, instrumentation, and automation for precise testing and analysis
  • Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams and leadership

What You’ll Bring

  • Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 3+ years of work experience
  • Strong knowledge in data acquisition, solid mechanics, material science, heat transfer, failure analysis, and digital electronics
  • Experience with object-oriented programming and scripting (Python, C++, etc.) for hardware control and data analysis
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software for designing test automation systems, mechanical structures, or mechatronic systems
  • Familiarity with high-voltage systems and electrical test equipment
  • Experience leading technical projects, coordinating with multiple teams, and balancing competing priorities
