The Finance & IT function works to accelerate business growth through ensuring that the company’s operations run efficiently and effectively, ultimately enabling the achievement of company goals.

The Senior Tax Accountant will assist the Domestic Tax Director to ensure compliance of tax regulations and mandated laws in an accurate and timely fashion. The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for all aspect of Dolby income tax compliance, including federal, state and foreign taxes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare corporate and partnership Federal and State Income Tax Returns.
  • Work with service provider for timely filing of tax returns.
  • Prepare quarterly estimates and extensions.
  • Prepare tax return workpapers and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare apportionment factors and state tax adjustments.
  • Prepare and/or review fixed assets computations for all areas of tax
  • Assist with federal & state income tax audits.
  • Research federal and state tax issues.
  • Assist with quarterly and yearly tax provisions.

Requirements:

  • BS in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA and/or MS Taxation
  • 4-7 years of experience with a mix of public accounting and industry.
  • Knowledge of SAP financial applications.
  • Knowledge of ONESOURCE and CorpTax, a plus
  • Experience with implementing and using tax technology tools a plus
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI
  • Experience or knowledge of domestic indirect tax a plus
  • Ability to prepare work accurately and timely with attention to details
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Experience working in a dispersed organization.
  • Hybrid work schedule
  • Minimal business travel - approximately 5-10%

The Atlanta Area base salary range for this full-time position is $87,200 - $116,600 which can vary if outside this location, plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
