Specialty Pharmacy Technician (Liaison) - Full-time

As a full time, non-exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Specialty Pharmacy Technician (Liaison) at Sky Lakes Medical Center, you will work within the clinics to engage the providers and patients to improve continuity of care across the system. You will consult with each patient within the clinic, with the goal being to provide specialty pharmacy services through the specialty pharmacy. This position acts a liaison between the specialty pharmacy, providers and patients and is responsible for assisting the specialty pharmacy with data entry, financial assistance, prior authorizations and updating clinical information.

Pay Rate: $21 to $23 per hour plus bonus - dependent on experience 

Schedule: This full time, non-exempt position will work a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm.

About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • Current Oregon Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
  • Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
  • Through training and/or experience, possess necessary knowledge to provide oversight of medication regimens for the patient populations treated in the facility including a knowledge of dosing for specific age populations
  • Experience in specialty or outpatient pharmacy, and clinical pharmacy support for clinical programs preferred
  • Proficient computer skills using pharmacy systems and Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel 

Specialized Knowledge/Skills

  • Ability to use pharmacy management systems and care management platforms 
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective communication skills - verbal and written 

Hospital Requirements (may be required): 

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
  • Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
  • Hep B3 Series (or declination) 
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th 
  • COVID Vaccine-Full (required)
