The Senior Electrical Engineer - Project Manager will lead a multi-discipline team through the development of electrical power distribution designs, roadway lighting, intelligent transportation system (ITS) improvements, vehicle charging stations, pump stations, network communications, traffic signal design, and report writing. Position is hybrid (remote and in-office). Candidate can work out of the Indianapolis, IN, Milwaukee, WI, Madison, WI or Chicago IL offices.

As our newest team member, you’ll play an active role in the development of plans, specifications and estimates critical infrastructure projects. We’d provide you professional development working with other Professional Engineers. Joining our team, you’ll have the chance to work on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects and utilize your electrical design expertise to create innovative solutions.

Here's what you'll need

  • Ten (10) or more years’ professional project experience with the design and development of electrical power distribution, roadway lighting, ITS improvements or traffic signal design
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License, preferably with an active NCEES account to obtain additional state PE licenses through reciprocity 
  • Previous Project/Task management experience 
  • Ability to work in multi-discipline engineering teams of civil and mechanical engineers
  • Valid driver’s license & able to travel for site visits
  • Knowledge of and experience using REVIT, AutoCAD, or MicroStation design software
  • Ability to travel on occasion 

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Experience applying National Electrical Code to a wide variety of projects
  • NCEES Account to achieve Professional Registrations in other jurisdictions
  • Experience designing electrical systems supporting infrastructure projects
  • Complex lighting experience 
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Strong time management and attention to detail

Posted Salary Range: Minimum

135,000.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

180,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $135,000.00 to $180,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
