Your Mission
Manage & Develop a robust material in Asia and globally.
Work with the global team to ensure the fabric commercialization process is successful within calendar deadlines.
Partner with Innovation and Development teams for the counterdevelopments.
Manage all bulk fabric coordination with mills post-development: Greige booking, bulk lot approval, testing, and delivering KPIs “On-time delivery” and “Right—first-time” materials.
Manage internal trackers for the entire lifecycle of material (PLM, Smartsheets, google sheets) to address material situations at different milestones like development, material production, & garment prodcution.
Ensuring development to bulk transfer with all due diligence (signoff to T1/T2, standard setting, pre-production meetings, testing clousers, etc.).
Collect cost breakdown of seasonal material prices and negotiate MOQ/MCQ with suppliers.
Mitigate material issues with suppliers & factories.
Coordinate with the crossfunctional teams (sustainability, quality, compliance).
Your story
Textile Engineering is a professional degree.
You should have 8 years of relevant experience in material management, preferably with 4-5 years in a fabric manufacturing establishment.
Strong analytical and data management skills. Strong knowledge of technical fabrics & prints.
Knowhow of the development process & its requirements.
Understand the textile innovation and emerging concepts.
Knowledge of high-performance textiles and the functional aspects for the sports and outdoor fabric.
Proficiency in English is a must, and Chinese is a plus.
User proficiency in Excel/Powerport, Smartsheet, PLM, and data visualization tools.
An entrepreneurial and open mindset, an eagerness for differentiation, and a natural push for excellence.
Able to balance creativity with organization and discipline in a fast-paced environment.
