Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze requirements clearly, and estimate tasks properly. Then, research, design, implement, and test software programs by applying best practices of engineering. Finally, write and update technical documentation on Confluence pages
• Coordinate with other members to create technical analyses and proposals, review code, and mentor other software developers
• Implement troubleshooting to identify possible causes of problems, provide suitable solutions, and fix issues without breaking existing functionalities
• Participate in Agile Scrum activities: daily stand-up, demo session, retrospective, estimation, and planning, etc
• Perform technical interviews for EPAM, not only for EPAM Vietnam

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in software development with a degree in computer science or equivalent
• Strong experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JUnit, Git, Maven, design patterns, and SOLID design principles
• Skills in data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving
• Proficiency with Rest API, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and relational databases (MSSQL, DB2, MySQL, Postgres) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.)
• Experience with Spring Security, Microservices, JWT, Swagger, Kafka, TDD/BDD practices, and Mockito
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English (B1 level and above), with a can-do attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to apply new technologies quickly
• Experience with development processes and CI/CD tools such as Atlassian JIRA, Jenkins, SonarQube
