SERVICE ENGINEER ( Permanent contract Germany / Netherlands)
Mission :
Responsible for installation, service and repair of packaging equipment located at customer premises.
Provide maintenance and installation for fleet of equipment in a specific region.
Evaluates customer needs, defines their expectations, plans and organises service, maintenance or installation work.
Evaluate, troubleshoot and carry out repairs on equipment.
Provides customers with detailed instructions, performs and coordinates installations, maintenance, testing and corrective actions.
Maintain electronic records of site visits and activities in the format and frequency required by Sealed Air.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on all technical aspects of Sealed Air’s packaging systems.
Coordinates activities with Sales, Systems & Integration and customers to ensure fast response, establish routine maintenance and testing for optimal operation and to optimise utilisation of Company resources.
Requirements :
HNC in electrical engineering
Basic knowledge of PLC
Good knowledge of Pneumatics
Excellent mechanical skills
Strong troubleshooting capabilities
Confident to train customers on machinery, deal with customers in a breakdown situation and build strong customer relationships
Computer literate
Professional telephone manner
Willing to travel and work some weekends
Full driver licence
Good knowledge of English
