As a Senior Director Memory IC Development, you will play a pivotal role in the formation and growth of a dynamic mixed IC development team. Your focus will be on recruiting top-tier talent and cultivating their growth to align with the department's ambitious expansion plans. As a key influencer, you will drive development projects, shaping architectural decisions and championing continuous improvement and innovation to elevate the quality and competitiveness of our products.

In your new role you will:

  • Recruit, grow and lead a new mixed IC development team specializing in advanced Memory development
  • Develop your team members as a key focus and hire the best people to meet the growth strategy of the department
  • Drive the development projects with your team members, in alignment with project managers
  • Contribute and lead architectural decisions, related to chip floorplan, memory and analog architecture, digital architecture and FW/BIST interaction
  • Strive for continuous improvement and innovation in-order to ensure quality and competitiveness of our products
  • Interact and cooperate with internal and external partners for Design Automation Tools, Process Design Kits, IP-Provision etc.
  • Interact and cooperate with cross-functional and management team of the memory business and other business lines

You are an experienced leader with abilities to recruit talented team members, lead the team to become a highly motivated team, set challenging, but realistic targets, and monitor the team progress regularly. You constantly reflect and question the team assumptions and analyze issues from different perspectives to enable your decision-making processes. Your strong communication skills help you to establish lasting relationships and networks to accommodate multiple skills and sites.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A university degree in Electrical, Electronics or Automation Engineering. Master’s degree is an advantage
  • At least 7 years in a line management role plus at least 8 years of working experience in digital design. Memory design experience is an advantage; Knowledge in RTL2GDS flow and timing signoff is an advantage
  • Very good communication skills and well experienced in risk and stakeholder management
  • Leadership skills for mentoring, coaching and providing direction to your team members
  • Leadership skills for managing lower-level managers
  • An excellent command of English language skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve highly complex problems involving expert networks
  • Ability to proactively assemble and guide team to a problem statement based on technical inputs and capability for driving complex decision-making under pressure
