Job Description
Purpose of the position: To implement, manage, and continuously improve the quality management systems in accordance with the most recent applicable standards throughout the entire organization, as documented in the established systems.
Position in the organization:
- Reports directly to the management;
- Manages the QHSE Manager, KAM Coordinator, and Maintenance & Calibration Inspector;
- Participates in the management review;
Is a member of the management team.
The employee is responsible for:
- Ensuring that the quality management system remains compliant with the requirements of ISO9001 and AS9100, in their most recent version;
- Monitoring the functioning of the quality management system as defined in the quality manual;
- Approving and issuing registered quality documents, such as procedures, documents, and forms;
- Periodically reporting quality performance according to established performance indicators, including at least On Time Delivery and Product Quality;
- Recording and maintaining result indicators in the KPI dashboard;
- Conducting quality verifications at suppliers;
- Advising responsible parties on formulating and documenting corrective actions;
- Planning internal audits;
- Organizing and overseeing the qualifications and certification of employees of clients and suppliers;
- Maintaining contacts with advisors and certification bodies;
- Providing information and instruction, specifically related to Aerospace activities;
- Ensuring customer orientation within the organization;
- Proposing improvement opportunities and directing improvement projects;
- Performing other tasks assigned by management, within the scope of the job purpose.

Responsibilities:
- Supervising the correct use and application of procedures, documents, work instructions,
- Developing an audit plan, considering the scope, auditor independence, the importance of the involved processes, results from previous audits, and implemented or expected changes within the organization;
- Conducting internal audits;
- Keeping the quality manual(s) up to date;
- Scheduling management reviews;
- Working in compliance with guidelines, procedures, and work instructions;
- Managing, maintaining, and updating assigned documents, including customer-provided standards, instructions, guidelines (Boeing, Airbus, etc.); Authorities:
The employee is authorized to:
- Have organizational freedom and unrestricted access to top management to resolve quality management issues;
- Provide binding guidelines on the setup of the quality system in all departments in consultation with management;
Advise on quality improvement projects in consultation with management;
- Approve and sign off quality documents;
- Block deliveries if contractual requirements are not met;
- Grant temporary inspection authority;
- Maintain contacts with external parties regarding issues related to the management system
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of the content of ISO9001, AS9100, AS9102;
- Knowledge of PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, and statistical process control is preferred;
- Knowledge of specific aviation legislation;
Good interpersonal and social skills;
Good oral and written skills in Dutch;
Good oral and written skills in English
