We are looking for an exceptional Credit Analyst who can…Analyze credit data and financial information of companies to determine credit worthiness of the MKS/Newport customer base. The Credit Analyst will prepare reports based on their findings to support their decisions.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Evaluate the Customer’s credit data to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit to new and existing customers.
  • Complete credit reports with detailed analysis, and provide credit recommendations tied to analysis and assessment of credit risk
  • Collaborate with Collector’s to ensure orders are managed appropriately to their credit limit and risk level
  • Work with sales and marketing departments in managing customers’ accounts to help control credit exposure, make payments on time, and where necessary, propose alternate solutions to mitigate credit risk
  • Evaluate external resources for credit evaluations and make determinations on credit reporting providers
  • Manage and negotiate credit reporting provider’s contracts
  • Monitor risk alerts and take appropriate action
  • Collaborate with Shared Services Leadership and highlight areas for process improvements, recommendations about procedural/policy changes which can have a positive impact on both internal/external customer satisfaction
  • Define and document Credit Evaluation policy
  • Participate in special projects, as well as automation projects, as required

Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of Credit/Collection experience
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and problem resolution skills
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to prepare and keep, clear and accurate, financial records and reports for informational, auditing and operational use.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
  • Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination
  • Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information 
  • The ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer) 
  • Operates in a professional office environment
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually average
  • This position is a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite weekly with the remainder able to work remotely. Candidates must live within commuting distance to Andover, MA.
