CNC/EDM Machinist| Batavia, OH

1st shift| $17-$23/hr

Express Employment Professionals Cincinnati East is now hiring to fulfill a CNC/EDM Machinist opening for an established manufacturing (injection molding) firm in Batavia, OH.

Core Functions: 

• Set-up CNC/EDM machines to perform machine functions on work piece.
• Performing G-Code programming to run CNC machines.
• Setting up and operating units.
• Blueprints and process sheets to determine the correct settings for units.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and Machine Cleaning.
• Generally, work with engineers to establish proper manufacturing methods.
• Inspect finished work pieces to ensure tolerances.
• As well as monitoring machines during production runs to adjust machine controls and prevent errors.
• Always be safety conscious.
• Operate two or more machines.
• Machines run at moderate and proper speed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The skills to run CAD, CAM, software applications are helpful. Mathematical skills & Communication skills for CNC/EDM_MC. The ability to read micrometers, gauges, and probes are also helpful.

• Everything is 3 Axis.
• 2 Yoneda Fanuc 15-M control.
• Makino V55 Fanuc Pro 3 control.
• Makino V56 Fanuc Pro 5 control.
• YCM DVC 3021 B Fanuc MXP-208 FC control.
• Toshiba BTD 110 Tosnuc control.

Education:

• Basic computer skills and file format experience are helpful.
• Standard environmental hazards, health, and conservation guidelines.

Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri, 7:00AM-3:45PM. During peak production periods, evenings, weekends, and/or nightshift coverage may be required. 

Pay: $17-25/hour, based on experience
