Role: Developer-Full Stack Professional

Supporting: Large Financial Services Client

Location: Hybrid - Tuesday through Thursday - McLean, VA

Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and modern web technologies to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing cutting-edge financial applications and services using Microservices architecture and advanced JavaScript frameworks. You will assist with efforts in creating new features, resolving defects, addressing technical debt, and enhancing both customer-facing and internal applications. Your expertise will be crucial throughout the software development lifecycle, including server operations, front-end and back-end development, testing, verification, and maintenance. Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on software development and programming experience, with a deep-rooted knowledge of application, data and architecture design patterns and principles.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred
• Background in Finance, Accounting or similar industries is a plus.?
• Experience in developing scalable applications and services based on Java frameworks such as Spring/Spring Boot/Spring Cloud, Kafka, Hibernate and Netflix stack for microservices.
• Must have hands on experience developing highly sophisticated web UI based on Angular framework, jQuery and Material design.
• Familiarity with utilizing build and integration tools, including knowledge of Gradle, Jenkins, Git and Docker.
• Proficiency with REST API design, development, and documentation.
• Proficiency with fundamental web front-end languages and frameworks.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL Server, Sybase, Redis, MongoDB and so on.
• Experience writing automated unit, integration, regression, performance, and acceptance tests.?
• Possess a formidable acumen and strong desire to learn the business functions and features that need to be delivered.
