Salary: $21-$22 an hour

We are currently recruiting for Administrative Assistants & Receptionists for our clients in the Tri-Cities: Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam & Port Moody. We are looking for candidates to join our on-call Administrative pool for temporary & contract work for both full-time and part-time roles.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of receptionist experience using a multi-line switchboard
  • Previous experience in administrative or receptionist roles is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel: Intermediate level
  • Excellent communication skills: written & verbal
  • Ability to prioritize tasks & meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn & support a team
  • Flexibility to work on short notice and adapt to various settings.

Duties:

  • Answer and direct phone calls professionally.
  • Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Manage and distribute incoming mail and courier packages.
  • Perform data entry, filing, and document preparation.
  • Maintain and update records, logs, and databases.
  • Schedule meetings and manage calendars.
  • Assist in preparing reports and/or correspondence.
  • Order and organize office supplies as needed.
  • Handle basic troubleshooting for office equipment like printers and copiers.
  • Support event or meeting setup (e.g., arranging rooms, materials).

  • Full-Time & Part-Time, Contract/Temporary (Assignments can range from 1 day to 1-2 weeks at a time)
  • Monday to Friday
  • Day Shifts
