About the Role:
As an Onboarding specialist, you will be responsible for smooth onboarding of new customers to CleverTap via successful implementation of the CleverTap Platform for the Customer's Business Use Cases.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with clients to tailor solutions for SMS and WhatsApp campaigns.
- Optimize SMS and WhatsApp workflows for seamless integration with CleverTap.
- Resolve technical issues and educate clients on best practices for SMS and WhatsApp marketing.
- Monitor campaign performance, generate insights, and recommend improvements.
- Ensure timely delivery of campaigns and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the process.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and maximize engagement.
- Drive continuous improvements by identifying opportunities for automation and process optimization.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, features, and regulations in SMS and WhatsApp marketing.
What we are looking for:
Must have:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in relevant onboarding role
- Proven experience in SMS, WhatsApp, and RCS (Rich Communication Services) marketing or customer communication.
- Hands-on experience with SMS, WhatsApp, and RCS marketing platforms.
- Strong understanding of SMS and WhatsApp and RCS API's and integration processes.
- Proficient in managing end-to-end campaign execution.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in SMS and WhatsApp and RCS channels.
- Strong understanding of SMS, RCS and WhatsApp API, messaging platforms, and campaign management tools.
Good to have:
- Experience with enterprise SMS platforms such as Twilio,Infobip,Nexmo,Gupshup or MSG91 and RCS platforms
- Experience in client-facing roles or SaaS environments.
- Ability to drive automation, improve workflows, and stay updated with global SMS trends.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
- Strong understanding of customer engagement strategies and how to leverage SMS, RCS and WhatsApp effectively.
- Experience with campaign analytics, performance tracking, and A/B testing.
- Familiarity with compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, TCPA) related to SMS, RCS and WhatsApp marketing.
Measures of success:
- CSAT score.
- Customer retention success rate.
- SMS and WhatsApp Go Live not exceeding the average TTV.
- Target to achieve KPIs/Use Cases of new onboards.
