You'd like to do this:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of technical strategies to modernize the architecture of an operational system.
  • Collaborate closely with government customers to validate the technical direction of the program.
  • Identify and implement process improvements across the system lifecycle using industry best practices.
  • Act as a Change Agent and Agile Coach to guide and support the team.
  • Define and integrate tools to automate software development, maintenance, and delivery, including Release Planning, CI/CD pipeline, metrics and monitoring, and Configuration Management.
  • Ensure compliance with established processes and tools across multiple Agile teams and support their implementation.
  • Participate in team meetings, daily scrums, and system demos.
  • Perform analysis of technical alternatives for projects and provide preliminary recommendations.
  • Develop architectural designs as needed for the system.
  • Provide technical expertise in a software development environment, supporting multiple development teams.
  • Collaborate with senior technical staff and government team members to optimize processes and maintain quality practices.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of DevSecOps processes and tools.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and apply analytical and critical thinking skills to solve complex problems.

You're required to have this:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of system engineering experience or a Master’s degree with 8 years of experience (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 6 years working in a software development environment supporting multiple development teams.
  • Proven experience in collaborating with senior technical staff and government teams to optimize processes and improve quality practices.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps processes and tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $210,000

The BlueHalo pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on factors including, but not limited to, job responsibilities, location, experience, education, certifications, contract-specific affordability, organizational needs, internal equity, and market data.
