An aluminum extrusion company in Youngstown is looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join their team!
Summary: Produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Properly load and unload extruded materials in CNC machinery
- Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
- Understand, interpret and edit G-Code programming
- Recognize and properly use inserts, fixtures and tooling
- Understand and have the ability to perform tool wear offsets
- Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery
- Utilize and abide by ISO requirements and safety procedures
- Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions
Minimum Requirements:
- Trade Program Certification or
- 2+ years of experience in operating CNC mills
- Knowledge of and the ability to edit G-Codes
