Job Description

As a Project Manager – Financial Services you will lead large-scale, multi-dimensional initiatives enabling our clients' Digital Business Transformation. You will partner with senior client executives in the Financial Services Industry and ultimately be accountable for the overall strategic shaping, planning, implementation, and effectiveness of work for client engagements. You will guide globally distributed teams to deliver successful software outputs and meaningful business outcomes for clients while influencing change.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary Engagement Lead for delivery of large-scale, high impact workstreams within the Investment Management Platform Program on behalf of PS Clients – plan, direct, and coordinate assigned workstreams to ensure goals and objectives are achieved with high quality and delivering on expected business value
  • Work with multiple business units & functions within the enterprise, with moderate to high risk and complexity including Investment Management, Back Office Operations, Service and Operations, Sales, Marketing, Infrastructure Services, etc.
  • Ability to drive to rigid timelines and results for assigned workstream based off larger program milestones
  • Organize, plan, track, document, and own take aways for meetings and to do for workflow
  • Take high level topics/decisions and break them down into smaller pieces and self-initiate next steps on how to take decisions forward in a timely basis
  • Coordinate the Risk Market Data working group that is part of the overall Risk workstream on the IM Platform Program
  • Drive actions, resolve issues, tracks follow ups, raise risks, coordinates/documents decisions related to assigned workstreams
  • Coordinate weekly meetings with core Risk team and ad-hoc meetings with Front Office and Operations teams
  • Provide weekly status update on progress to the central Program team
  • Deliver thought-leadership around industry, process, PMO, delivery, and technology on behalf of the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 8 – 12 years related hands-on, data-driven Project/Program Management / Leadership experience in scaled digital implementation leading high performing teams
  • Investment Management / Front and Back Office operations experience (this is a must)
  • Experience with a variety of methodologies like scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, etc.), waterfall, and hybrid
  • Knowledge of best practices in design thinking/user-centered design (e.g., user research, hypothesis-driven development, prototyping, and usability testing)
  • Experience working in a large-scale multi-national firm essential; showcasing the ability to influence with storytelling and data
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, experience with a distributed delivery model, leading diverse teams, and collaborating in a multi-cultural environment for end-to-end engagements
  • Experience with investment management technology/process transformation (ie. Aladdin, Charles River, SimCorp)

Additional Information

Pay Range: $128,000 - $175,000

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
