Coordinator, Digital Sales Operations (Americas - Timberland PRO)

What will you do?

As a trusted member of the PRO Sales Operations team, you will report to the Senior Manager, Sales Operations & Analysis. A day in the life of a Digital Sales Operations Coordinator at Timberland looks a little like this. 

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more. What you will do:

  • Website audits for Timberland PRO wholesale accounts to assess validity, reviews, features, and aesthetics to maximize traffic and revenue, presenting results to the sales team for potential improvements.
  • Function as the subject matter expert in the business-to-business (B2B) Elastic platform, understanding its requirements and capabilities as a 24/7 ordering and information tool, and presenting solutions and upgrades within the scope of budgets and resources. 
  • Act as the Internet Minimum Advertised Price (“IMAP”) Administrator, developing and communicating seasonal lists, portal management, and strike issuance and tracking. 
  • Portal management for non-digital accounts, liaising with Salsify, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure proper loading of information on a seasonal and ad hoc basis. 
  • Oversee inventory feeds for digital partners, working with Sales Planning, Customer Service, and the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) team to ensure smooth upload and delivery, troubleshooting errors in a timely fashion. 

How you will do it:

  • Become the subject matter expert and advocate for digital and omni-channel accounts within the wholesale marketplace, applying best practices and administering policies. 
  • Anticipate and prevent issues that can cause service disruption, impacting customer satisfaction and revenue goals. 
  • Manage adherence to deliverable calendar within the PRO seasonal catalog process from conception to distribution, coordinating between stakeholders and owners: PRO Marketing, Product, Digital, and Sales teams. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure compliance with digital assets, campaigns, and sales tools. 
  • Provide standard sales support, including item set-up, website reviews and audits, seasonal maintenance, and ad-hoc reporting and maintenance. 
  • Manage the EDI 846 drop ship process, understanding individual customers’ EDI and compliance requirements. 
  • Be eager to learn all product lines, assortments, and key styles to aid in the assortment selections for the Sales and Planning team.

What do you need to succeed?

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundational skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while a formal education, such as a bachelor’s degree in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 1-3 years’ experience with digital asset management. The foundational skills you will need in this position are: 

  • Microsoft Office – advanced Excel skills; the ability to collect, analyze, interpret, build relationship models including databases, pivot tables, and macros.
  • Solid navigational and editing experience with MS SharePoint
  • Strong analytical skills with a strict attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines; flexibility and nimbleness are key in this role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

Hiring Range:

$51,200.00 USD - $64,000.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
