Job Responsibilities :

The Technical Lead and Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. This position requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, architectural patterns, and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership:
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical skills.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
  • Architecture Design:
  • Design and implement robust cloud architectures that meet business requirements and performance SLAs.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate cloud technologies and services.
  • Create detailed design documents and technical specifications.
  • Cloud Infrastructure:
  • Provision, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure resources (e.g., virtual machines, storage, networks).
  • Implement automation tools and scripts to streamline infrastructure management.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization to minimize costs.
  • Security and Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to security best practices and industry standards.
  • Implement security controls to protect sensitive data and applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Performance Optimization:
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Implement performance optimization techniques to improve application response times.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address issues.
  • Troubleshooting and Support:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical problems.
  • Provide timely and effective support to end-users.
  • Collaborate with support teams to resolve incidents and service requests.

Pre-Requisites :

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering or architecture.
  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of networking and security concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced certifications in cloud technologies.
  • Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
