EXPERIENCED ONCOLOGY NURSE (RN) – (36 HOURS/WEEK, VARIABLE SHIFTS)

UW Medical Center - Montlake is hiring experienced Oncology Registered Nurses to join our team. Our oncology nursing opportunities may include positions on the following inpatient units:

Medical Oncology/Blood & Marrow Transplant (7NE)

Medical-Surgical Oncology & Post-Op Care (7SE)

Medical Oncology/Acute Leukemia (8SA)

Blood & Marrow Transplant and Infusion Care (8NE)

WORK SCHEDULE

90% FTE (36-hour workweek)

Oncology RNs can work straight nights or a day/ night or evening/night rotation.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Screen patients for oncology treatment

Place IVs, and initiate, assess and observe patients during infusions

Provide procedural support

Document all activities in the Electronic Medical Record

Provide care management education for patients and their families

REQUIREMENTS

Active BLS Certification

Active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State required by start date

1 year of current or recent oncology nursing experience
