The Web Digital Experience (WDE) develops and maintains user facing web portals for both the consumer and commercial space.
Project Description:
- lively.com: Lively brand's e-commerce website.
- bestbuyhealth.com: our Health website serving as a flagship platform to promote the organization's mission.
- Senior Living Self-Service Portal (SLSSP): web portal tailored for Senior Living facilities, facilitating seamless administration of PERS (service activation, device status monitoring, troubleshooting, and billing).
- Health Insurance Self-Service Portal (HISSP) / Member Benefit Enrollment (memBe): web portals for Health Insurances, streamlining the submission process for PERS referral requests.
Position Summary/Job Description:
Development:
- Contribute to the technical design and development of cutting-edge web solutions
- Ensure the technical feasibility of functional and technical requirements
- Implement and maintain robust architecture, ensuring security, code quality, reusability, and maintainability.
Collaboration and Innovation:
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, user-centric products.
- Participate in code reviews

- Proactively identify areas for improvement and contribute to the continuous enhancement of our development processes and practices.

- 5+ years of experience as a Front-End developer
- Experience developing scalable, reusable components to support design systems, applying atomic design principles using modern frameworks.
- Proficiency with React and popular React libraries and frameworks (e.g., Redux, React Router) and modern JavaScript (ES6+) and extensive experience with TypeScript
- Proficiency with HTML5 and CSS3, CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, LESS).
- Proficiency with Git (Git workflows, branching, merging, and pull requests, etc.)
What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for?
- Proven experience in developing e-commerce web solutions.
- Knowledge of the Astro framework.
- Jest/Cypress
- Experience with RESTful APIs and understanding of API authentication and authorization methods
