RUN Studios, and its client partner, a large online retailer headquartered in Seattle, are seeking a User Experience Designer to join for an approximate 6-month project!

This position requires 5 days onsite in Seattle. Candidates must be local to the Seattle area to be considered for this position.

Your passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences drives you to push beyond "good enough," continually inspiring those around you to elevate their work. You thrive on tackling complex challenges and finding simple, elegant solutions, even in uncharted territory. 

While the primary focus of this role is mobile-first design, you should be equally excited about expanding features across devices to create cohesive, multi-device experiences that follow customers seamlessly from one platform to another.

As a User Experience Designer, You Will

• Use business requirements, market research and customer feedback to assist in developing scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements.
• Design conceptual sketches, wireframe information architecture, high-fidelity mockups, and interaction specifications.
• Develop and nurture relationships across teams and disciplines to promote collaboration and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain detailed design patterns that scale for your team and influence other designers.
• Lead brainstorming sessions and give presentations to drive design, demonstrating features and flows.
• Understand and respond to data (metric tests, usability studies), using that to inform future design.
• Prototyping.
• Ability to work with data and insights to deliver customer-obsessed designs.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
• UX/UI design.

As an Applicant, You Bring

• 4-6 years of design experience.
• 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience.
• Have an available online portfolio.
• Experience prototyping (HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash or Flash Catalyst, or Axure).
• 3+ years experience with Figma.
• Experience with User Research (concept testing, usability, etc.).
• Experience building clickable prototypes.
• 2+ years of mass-market consumer web / mobile products experience.
• Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs.

Compensation

Pay Range: $55.00 - $69.00 (Hourly) 

The successful candidate’s pay will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.

Benefits and perks may vary depending on location and nature of the work, but eligible employees have access to medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D benefits, health savings and flexible spending accounts, other telehealth and wellness benefits, a minimum of seven paid holidays per year, accrual of at least 6.5 days (Temporary Employment) to at least 15 days (Regular Employment) of paid time off per year, a 401k plan with company match, discretionary bonuses dependent on company, team or individual performance, and referral bonuses for eligible hired referrals.
